South American legislation on cannabis and hemp will progress, if slowly, in 2022

This story looks at the prospects for positive legislation on cannabinoid and hemp products during 2022 across a range of South American countries. There is still tension between conservative “war on drugs” attitudes versus liberal opening up and the realisation that big commercial prospects are in sight.

Brazil and Argentina have major legislation pending and we look at the respective prospects for this passing.
