Description

Hawaii does not allow the sale of CBD, regardless of its source, except for in licensed medical cannabis dispensaries. Cultivation of hemp is also only allowed for research purposes since the 2018 Hemp Bill has still not been adopted. However, there remains some confusion surrounding CBD processing, manufacturing and some finished products, thus this snapshot aims to clarify the stance of this US state, and the necessary permits needed to work in this market.
