Malawi asks former world boxing champ Tyson to be cannabinoids ambassador

Malawi has asked former world heavyweight champion boxer Mike Tyson to be its ambassador for its cannabinoid products sector, which it is boosting in the run-up to new legislation that takes force in 2022. Tyson, who established his own cannabis products company in 2016, is rumoured to have accepted. However a Malawi civil rights group is protesting against this on the grounds of Tyson’s previous jail term for rape.
