Is FDA taking action on CBD products ‘for human consumption’?

An unconfirmed seizure of products from a shop in Arizona could be the first instance of enforcement on CBD by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials since the passage of the US 2018 Farm Bill.
A number of CBD-containing products were seized from a retail outlet in Yuma, according to local press reports. The action appears to have been undertaken by FDA agents supported by officers from another unidentified agency.
The shop, Neverlow Glass Gallery, said eight chocolate bars, 14 packs of gummies, and 23 K-cups (pods of coffee for a Nespresso or Keurig-style coffee machine) were taken by officials who had visited a week earlier and asked about CBD products for human consumption.
