In our latest look at South America, we investigate the rules and regulations governing CBD in Colombia. We find that importing seeds for growing cannabis, or cannabis by-products, is only permitted under licence. Oils, resins, tinctures, extracts and such other preparations obtained from cannabis are considered by-products of cannabis and the extraction and manufacture of CBD from hemp is permitted under specific licence. CBD final products are allowed if they are within the legal limits (THC below 1%) and any cosmetic product will have to comply with these generic requirements regarding THC limits. CBD e-liquids should, in principle, legal.
