Thailand: Public health minister Anutin Charnvirakul told the media on Saturday that Thai citizens will be allowed to grow an unlimited number of cannabis plants for personal use when the decree to decriminalise the plant takes effect on 9th June. Those growing cannabis will not have to ask permission but will be required to inform local health authorities of the number of plants they possess, he said. Charnvirakul, who is also deputy prime minister, added that a bill to regulate cannabis will soon be introduced in the House of Representatives.
