US - Oklahoma: Senate Bill 1338 was passed unanimously by the Senate and now heads to the House. The bill would amend the state’s hemp definition to say it must have a delta-9 or delta-8 THC concentration of not more than 0.3%. The law currently only limits the amount of delta-9 THC in hemp.

US - Oklahoma: House Bill 3439 was passed by the House and now heads to the Senate. The bill would establish hemp remediation procedures and allow remediation for hemp with up to 1% THC upon initial testing. Its definition of THC includes “any tetrahydrocannabinols derived from industrial hemp” for purposes of controlled substances law, though an earlier part of the definition refers to synthesised THC. This language could prove problematic for any hemp-derived products containing any amount of THC if the bill is not amended.
