France’s highest administrative court has temporarily and partially suspended the French decree banning the sale and consumption of CBD hemp flowers.
In its decision, delivered on Monday, the Council of State said the “overall and absolute banning [of flowers] is disproportionate and its legality is highly doubtful”.
The judge suspended article 1, paragraph 2 of the decree, in which the government prohibited the “selling to customers raw flowers or leaves, under all forms, alone or alongside other ingredients, as well as retention or consumption by customers”.
