CBD not a controlled substance: Ireland regulatory report

In our look at the regulations governing CBD in Ireland, we find that cannabis, THC and CBN (cannabinol) are controlled substances  but CBD (cannabidiol) is not. Hemp may be grown under licence and used for industrial purposes as long as EU Common Agricultural Policy regulations are observed, and CBD isolates, CBD flowers and full spectrum extracts may be manufactured and sold as a raw substance but will fall into specific product regulation depending on intended use.
